About Me

I'm a wife and homeschooling mom in Los Angeles. I have two sons who are homeschooling (JG, b. 05/99, and BT, b. 07/02) and a stepson and stepdaughter who attend school (DL, b. 04/92, and CL, b. 07/93).

I am also a home birth midwife, but currently not practicing in order to devote more time and energy to my family.

I'm a Christian (Pentecostal) and active in my church. I play the organ and run the music department. I have also written a little bit of choir music.

Ideologically, I am a pro-life progressive. What does that mean? My idea of pro-life is trying to prevent not only abortion, but also war, capital punishment, starvation, and death from preventable diseases.

I'm sure there are other people in the world that have similar views, and I would love to meet some of them here in my blogsite.
