The Gutless Pacifist featured this article under the headline "It's The Tuskegee Experiment All Over Again."

I saw another story recently that also reminded me of the Tuskegee syphilis study:
EPA & Chemical Industry to Study Effects of Known Toxic Chemicals on Children (this one is courtesy of The Puppy Pile).

The common element?  Both groups decided to use the poor as their laboratory subjects.  And children, no less.  This is frightening stuff.
